FASE 1: preparation and game rules:

Once arrived in Tetove, the student have their first impressions about the city; many of them have heard about the city, but never been before in Tetovo; They met  the students of University SEE to start knowing each other and to explain them the  aims and methodology of  tomorrow’s  charette’s experience.

The city has been divided in 25 zones, students are divided in 25 groups too. Each groups is formed by 1 Polis student and 1 student of Tetovo (speaking both the languages, macedonian and albanian) and each group has to explore a zone. Students have to collect 10 interviews through questionnaires have been already made in Tirana, 20 photos and 1 small text for each zone.

Each group will collaborate with another one during the tour. The two groups together will choose the 3 photos most representative of their 2 zones.

Questionnaires, photos and texts are instruments to explore city and to have contacts with inhabitants, to make us understand the  city but also to make citizens understanding the place they live, stimulating also their curiosity in our work.

Today is the first of May, a strange day to visiti city. Today is the workers’ day, it’s warm and sunny and a lot of citizens are out of city to have the traditional pic-nic with friends. It doesn’t matter, students are walking around, collecting informations, making their visions of Tetovo or changing the visions they had before.
